The wonderful group of experts that we brought together in Toronto for two roundtable discussions on Health Care has finalized our submission to the Romanow Commission. The final Conference in Ottawa at the end of September was unfortunately cancelled due to time constraints. The Report is being finalized as we speak and we are all eagerly anticipating its release in early November. The Commissioner's speech to the CMA AGM in Saint John's was very strong and promised clear recommendations..... Keep Following the Romanow Commission on the Future of Health Care in Canada The Commission website has developed an excellent source of the important reports that are a must-read for Canadians who want to participate in the debate -The Final Report of the 1997 National Forum on Health, the Fyke Commission Report from Saskatchewan, the Clair Commission from Quebec,the Kirby Senate reports and the recent Mazankowski report from Alberta are now easily available on the Commission web site.
